Directs district-level implementation and evaluation of the Comprehensive Behavioral Health Model and co-facilitates the BHS Research and Implementation Committee.
Carolyn Hall is a passionate school psychologist serving as the Program Director for the Boston Public Schools' Comprehensive Behavioral Health Model (CBHM). As CBHM Program Director, she works closely with the Behavioral Health Services leadership team and other stakeholders to support district-level implementation and evaluation of multi-tiered systems of support for behavioral health. The role also encompasses professional development, supervision, and technical assistance to school psychologists and school staff.
Carolyn co-facilitates the BHS Research Team, which is focused on minimizing the research gap in education while optimizing the practice and impact of school psychologists in the district and beyond. Before becoming Program Director, she practiced as a school psychologist in school-based and district-wide roles supporting BPS students and privately enrolled Boston residents ages 3 to 21, co-chaired the BHS Equity Committee, and served as a union representative.
Carolyn holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where her research centered on multi-tiered systems of support for academics and reading fluency assessment and intervention. She earned her bachelor's degree in Health Science from Keene State College, where she studied community health education and addictions.
